Connectors là gì?

Connector = bridge giữa Claude và một external tool (Google Drive, Slack, Notion, Gmail, Jira, Salesforce, v.v.).

Connector cho phép Claude:

Model Context Protocol (MCP) — "USB-C cho AI"

Connectors không phải hack. Chúng dựa trên một open standard gọi là Model Context Protocol (MCP).

MCP là gì?

Anthropic open-source MCP và maintain nó như một standard industry có thể adopt. Không phải proprietary lock-in — developers + vendors khác có thể implement.

Setup Web Connector — 5 bước

Bước 1: Find connector

Bước 2: Click Connect

Select connector muốn add.

Bước 3: Authenticate

Redirect tới service's login page. Sign in với existing credentials.

Claude không lưu password. Authentication qua OAuth (standard, secure).

Bước 4: Grant permissions

Review specific permissions Claude request. Ví dụ Google Drive:

Grant chỉ những cái cần. Có thể toggle later từ menu của connector.

Bước 5: Test connection

Quay về Claude. Thử simple request:

Security và permissions — Important

Anti-patterns với Connectors

❌ Grant max permissions "just in case"

❌ Forget connectors are on khi share chats

Cách đúng: Trước khi share chat, review data dùng. Sanitize nếu contains private info.

❌ Không update permissions khi role change
