Cách Enterprise Search work

Khi bạn hỏi, Claude:

Key distinction: Không duplicate data. Không separate index. Searches live, returns what's currently accessible theo your org permissions.

1. PARSE question

Setup — 2-step process

Enterprise Search require setup 2 bước: admin configure cho org, then individual users authenticate.

Bước 1: Admin setup (Owners)

Enterprise Search enabled by default cho Team và Enterprise orgs, nhưng Owner cần complete initial setup trước khi team members dùng được.

Admin process:

Sau setup complete, project available cho tất cả members của organization.

Bước 2: User authentication

Sau admin setup, bạn (user) thấy "Ask {Org Name}" project starred trong sidebar.

User process:

Quan trọng: Mỗi user authenticate own personal credentials. Enterprise Search respect your personal permissions trong original tools (không bypass permissions).

Càng nhiều connectors bạn enable, càng comprehensive search results. Add more later bất cứ lúc nào qua "Connect" trong project's Instructions section.

• Click "Set up for your org" (hoặc "Disable" nếu không muốn feature)
• Connect organization's tools:
• Documents connector (required): Google Drive hoặc SharePoint

• Click "+ Add more" cho additional tools (Jira, Notion, Confluence, etc.)
• Customize project name — what appears làm "Ask [Name]" trong sidebar mọi người
• Add description
• Click "Finish setup"

• Follow guided onboarding flow to connect recommended services

Principles

1. You see only what you can already see

Enterprise Search respects your permissions trong original connected tools. Bạn không có access tới CEO's email → Claude không có. Private Slack channel bạn chưa invited → Claude không search đó.

Permission model = unchanged.

2. Conversations remain private

Your individual chats trong Enterprise Search — private cho you, not shared với org by default.

3. Data không indexed or stored separately

Enterprise Search searches live through your connected tools. No centralized index duplicate. No separate Claude-owned copy of org data.

Anti-patterns với Enterprise Search

❌ Treat nó như Google-for-org

Biểu hiện: Type keyword, expect links-like-search.

Tại sao sai: Enterprise Search synthesizes. Bạn miss value nếu chỉ expect links.

Cách đúng: Ask questions (natural language). Request syntheses, summaries, comparisons.

❌ Không cite check

Biểu hiện: Copy-paste response trực tiếp vào email cho CEO, không verify.

Tại sao sai: Although cited, AI vẫn có thể misinterpret context. High-stakes content requires verification.

Cách đúng: For important decisions, click citations, verify source directly.

❌ Over-share sensitive queries

Biểu hiện: Query về sensitive personnel matter, salary data, M&A plans trong Enterprise Search.

Tại sao sai: Queries logged. Other admins might see.

Cách đúng: Sensitive matters — appropriate channels (direct conversation, HR system với access controls).

❌ Expect outdated info to be current
